About

About Peter Klausz

I make supply chains and operations work, and I back it up with data.

I’m Peter Klausz, a supply chain, operations, and data professional based in Burlington, Massachusetts, and a U.S. citizen.

My Path

My path started at Syracuse University. I earned a B.S. in Supply Chain Management & Finance and a second B.S. in International Relations, which taught me to see operations both up close and on a global stage. I later earned my MBA at the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School.

Since then I’ve worked across the full picture. I’ve done business intelligence consulting, managed supply chain for military jet engine parts at Pratt & Whitney, and worked as a data and business analyst in healthcare and food production. In 2018 I founded Statadventure, LLC, a consulting firm that helps U.S. small and mid-size manufacturers with supply chain, operations, and practical AI. I also use AI to develop software: I design and build supply chain programs in Python and SQL with AI-assisted development tools. See my career.

Today I lead Statadventure, LLC, my supply chain and operations consulting firm, which also builds custom supply chain software (more about Statadventure). I also offer marketing services, website design and business plans for Boston-area businesses; see all services.

What Drives My Work

Resilient supply chains

Tariff exposure, single-source suppliers, and thin inventories are real risks. I help companies see those risks and plan around them.

American manufacturing

I’m committed to strengthening the U.S. defense industrial base, domestic manufacturing, and reshoring.

Data you can act on

Dashboards and forecasts only matter when they lead to better decisions on the floor and in the boardroom.

Building software with AI

I use AI to develop software, working with Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini as pair-programmers to write, review, debug, and test code. I also help teams adopt AI where it actually saves time.

The Boston Report

I’m also the founder of The Boston Report, an independent news site covering Boston and New England, plus world news, sports, and food. It reflects the same habits I bring to my work: follow the sources, explain what matters, and keep it clear.

Beyond Work

Outside of work you’ll find me behind a drum kit or with a guitar, reading up on markets, economic policy, and global affairs, or getting in a workout.
